Film screening «African Mirror», followed by a discussion with director Mischa Hedinger on 24 April

Screening of Film «African Mirror» (2019) and following conversation with director Mischa Hedinger on Wednesday, 24. April 2024, at 5 pm in seminar room RAA-E-12, Rämistrasse 59, 8006 Zürich.

Mischa Hedinger (*1984) is a freelance filmmaker and editor. He studied video at the Lucerne School of Art and Design and film at the ECAL in Lausanne. In 2013, he made the documentary "Assessment", which was awarded the "Carte Blanche" prize for young filmmakers at the Duisburg Film Week. In 2019, his first feature documentary "African Mirror" premiered at the Berlinale, was nominated for the Swiss Film Award and won the Bern Film Award. He lives and works in Zurich.

 

Organized by Bärbel Küster and Maria Cuomo in the framework of the Spring Semester 2024 research colloquium of the Chair for Modern and Contemporary Art.
